The sixth annual Ohio LinuxFest will be on October 10 - 11, 2008 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

CFP To Close Monday August 18 at 11:59:59 P.M. EST - Submit Talks Today


This is the last minute to sharpen your pencils and crank out a talk to present at Ohio LinuxFest 2008. We will close Call For Proposals at 11:59:59 P.M. on August 18, 2008. Since our web service is hosted out of N2Net in Cleveland, Ohio, get your talk ideas to us before the stroke of midnight.



Ohio LinuxFest Announces Keynote Speakers


Columbus, Ohio – The Linux community continues to move in new and diverse directions while building a successful momentum each new year. Credit for some of that momentum goes to those community members that advocate about and to the community. Ohio LinuxFest is proud to recognize two such community members by announcing Joe 'Zonker' Brockmeier and Jono Bacon as keynote speakers for this year's Ohio LinuxFest occurring October 10th - 11th.



Registration Packages

The Enthusiast Package is still available at no cost for students, enthusiasts, and those that want to come to the event to find out more about Free and Open Source software. For everyone interested in learning more about Python, checkout PyOhio this weekend. PyOhio is a free daylong miniconference for Python programmers in and around Ohio. It will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 9:00 to 6:00 at the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
